Partizan Belgrade drew 0-0 against Spartak Subotica on Friday night as they warmed up for Tuesday's visit of Arsenal. In glorious weather in Belgrade, Partizan couldn’t break down a resilient Spartak side and the game ended goalless. Partizan created numerous chances to score on the night but came up against an inspired performance from visiting goalkeeper Branimir Aleksić. Partizan remain top of the Serbian Super Liga - but only on goal difference after city rivals FK Crvena Zvezda moved level on points with Aleksandar Stanojević's side.

Sporting Braga

Sporting Braga 3-1 Naval Primeiro de Maio

Sporting Braga got back to winning ways in the Portuguese First Division with a 3-1 win over Naval Primeiro de Maio on Saturday. José Márcio Da Costa scored the opener with a stunning half-volley after 28 minutes and the lead was doubled five minutes into the second half when Orestes Júnior Alves scored a freak own goal. Paulo César Rocha Rosa made the game safe in the 81st minute before Braga conceded in injury time. Braga move to third with 11 points from six games.

Shakhtar Donetsk

FC Metalist Kharkiv 1-2 Shakhtar Donetsk

Shakhtar Donetsk scored an injury time winner as they came from behind to win 2-1 at FC Metalist Kharkiv on Saturday. Taison Barcellos Freda put Shakhtar behind for the second week running after 55 minutes with a stunning long-range effort. A close-range header from former Gunner Eduardo brought the scores level with 19 minutes remaining and Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored the winner in the first minute of stoppage time. The win keeps Shakhtar two points clear at the top of the Ukrainian Premier Legaue.
