Olympiacos 2-1 Platanias

Olympiacos maintained their 100 per cent home record with victory over Platanias. Djamel Abdoun gave the hosts the lead from the penalty spot after six minutes, and Vassilis Torosidis extended the advantage soon after. Shaloze Udodji pulled one back for the visitors just before half time. Olympiacos are now 10 points clear at the top of the Greek Super League.


Olympique Lyon 1-0 Montpellier

Bafetembi Gomis’ first-half strike was enough to condemn Montpellier to their first defeat in six. The forward opened the scoring after 26 minutes. Rene Girard’s side are 13th in the Ligue 1 table following the loss.

Schalke 04

Schalke 1-1 Borussia Monchengladbach
Saturday, December 1
Julian Draxler’s late equaliser gave Schalke a point against Monchengladbach at Veltins-Arena. Igor De Camargo gave the visitors the lead just after the hour, before Draxler struck five minutes from time. Schalke have slipped to fourth in the Bundesliga table.
