Reggina 2-2 AS Roma
Sunday, February 1.
David Pizarro’s brace was not enough to claim all three points against rock-bottom Reggina on Sunday. Ex-Manchester City striker Bernardo Corradi slid the hosts in front from the penalty spot two minutes before half time but Pizarro’s long-range stunner seconds before the break pulled Roma level. The Chilean’s second wasn’t quite as spectacular as he slotted home a 57th-minute penalty at the second attempt but the strike did look to be enough to secure all three points. However, 10 minutes from time, Francesco Cozza slotted a right-foot shot past Doni from 10 yards to secure the home side’s point in front of just 926 fans at the Oreste Granillo Stadium.
