Barcelona 4-1 Athletic Bilbao
Saturday, April 3
Barcelona cruised to a 4-1 home win over Athletic Bilbao on Saturday. However, Pep Guardiola's side were delivered a blow shortly before the match when Zlatan Ibrahimovic injured his calf in the warm-up. It means the striker will miss the Champions League Quarter-Final second leg against Arsenal on Tuesday. Bojan Krkic replaced Ibrahimovic in the starting line up against Bilbao and went on to score twice in the match. Jeffren Suarez scored the opener after 27 minutes before Bojan struck his brace. Lionel Messi made it 4-0 midway through the second half though Susaeta grabbed a consolation for Bilbao with 13 minutes remaining. Barca remain level on points with Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.
