AZ Alkmaar 2-1 Willem II

AZ Alkmaar continued their strong start to the season with a 2-1 home win over Willem II.
Australian Brett Holman gave AZ the lead seven minutes in. Sergio Zijler equalised with a close-range header after 23 minutes, but just a minute later Hector Moreno restored the hosts' lead. Alkmaar are now one point clear at the top of the Dutch Eredivisie with four wins out of five.

Larissa 0-2 Olympiacos

Olympiacos opened their Hellenic Championship campaign with a 2-0 away win at Larissa.
Leonardo scored the opener on 22 minutes, and 13 minutes before the break Entos Maresca doubled the visitors' lead.

Anderlecht 1-1 Standard Liege

Standard Liege earned a 1-1 draw at Anderlecht despite the dismissal of Alex Witsel for a challenge on Anderlecht defender Marcin Wasilewski 27 minutes in.
Liege took the lead through Dieumerci Mbokani nine minutes before the break, but seven minutes later Guillaume Gillet equalised for the hosts. Standard are now 7th in the Jupiler Pro League with one win and four draws from their opening five matches.
