Borussia Dortmund continued their strong form in the Bundesliga with a convincing 5-1 victory over Wolfsburg on Saturday. Young midfielder Mario Gotze grabbed the game's first and last goals while Shinji Kagawa, Sven Bender and Robert Lewandowski were also on target. Former Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb hit Wolfsburg's solitary goal.

Aris 2-3 Olympiacos

Olympiacos clung on to secure a vital 3-2 win over Aris on Saturday. Rafik Djebbour sustained his impressive run of goalscoring form with the opener and Francois Modesto made it two in the 28th minute. Aris pulled one back with 15 minutes remaining, but Jean Makoun restored the visitors' two-goal advantage in the 83rd minute. The hosts ensured a nervy finish with another goal a minute later, but Olympiacos held on for the win.

Marseille 2-0 Nice
Sunday, November 6
Marseille continued their resurgence in Ligue 1 with a late victory over Nice on Sunday. Substitute Jordan Ayew hit the opener in the 75th minute - just three minutes after coming on - before Loic Remy made sure of three points from the penalty spot with virtually the last kick of the game.
