The draw for the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League pitted Arsenal against Barcelona.

The first leg of the tie will take place at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, February 16 with the return fixture at the Nou Camp on Tuesday, March 8.

Barcelona thumped Almeria 5-0 on Wednesday to put one foot in the Copa del Rey Final. In the first leg of their Semi Final, Lionel Messi scored twice to put Barca 4-0 up and in control by the break before Seydou Keita added a fifth late in the second half. Pep Guardiola named a strong starting XI that included Xavi, Andreas Iniesta, Messi and David Villa and the Catalans coasted to victory. Messi gave Barca the lead after ten minutes when his long-range shot found a way through goalkeeper Esteban and Villa made it two a minute later. Messi added a third and Pedro headed a fourth to make it 4-0 after just half an hour. Barca eased up after the break before Keita completed the rout a minute from time.
