Eduardo has been named in the Croatia squad for their friendly against Romania on February 11.
The Brazil-born striker completed 90 minutes for the reserves in their 2-2 draw with Stoke last week and the clash with the Romanians could provide him with further meaningful minutes as he continues his journey back to the first team.
Eduardo joins other Premier League stars Niko Kranjcar (Portsmouth), Luka Modric and Vedran Corluka (both Tottenham) in Slaven Bilic’s 22-man squad squad.
