Eduardo will return to Arsenal’s squad to face Newcastle on Saturday.
After picking up a groin injury in the first half of extra time in the Champions League clash in Rome, the Croatian international missed the home wins over Blackburn and Hull.
But, speaking at Friday’s pre-match press conference, Arsène Wenger revealed that the striker is fit again along with goalkeeper Manuel Almunia.
“Eduardo played just over a week ago against Roma - he had a minor injury and he is in the squad tomorrow,” said the manager.
“Manuel Almunia is fit too.”
