After returning successfully from almost a year on the sidelines, Eduardo will have no problems overcoming his latest injury setback.

After bagging a brace in his comeback match against Cardiff in February, the Croatian international was ruled out for two weeks with a hamstring injury. On his return he slammed home a wonderful volley against Burnley but then picked up a groin injury three days later against Roma.

Any other player might get disheartened by such niggly injuries but Eduardo has learned to take it all in his stride.

“Really, it’s nothing now for me to deal with these small injuries like hamstring or groin strains – I can understand them,” the 26-year-old told the Official Matchday Programme.

“I have plenty of experience of this now, having been out for so long, and I think I am experiencing these little problems because I didn’t have a pre-season.

“But I’m calm about it and I’m feeling better with every day and every training session.”
