The five Arsenal players who missed Sunday's Premiership opener against Fulham will not be fit to return for Wednesday's Champions League qualifier against Sparta Prague.

Eduardo, Emmanuel Adebayor, Gilberto, Abou Diaby and Denilson all missed Arsenal's 2-1 victory at the weekend and have not travelled to the Czech Republic. Arsène Wenger's squad of 18 includes the same 16 which were picked to face Fulham, plus full backs Justin Hoyte and Armand Traore.

"We have left behind Emmanuel Adebayor, Abou Diaby, Denilson, Gilberto and Eduardo," confirmed Wenger on Tuesday. "All three of Eduardo, Denilson and Diaby have small ankle problems but big enough for them not to play tomorrow.

"Adebayor is still a few days short and Gilberto is not fit enough yet."

The squad travelling to Prague is as follows:

Jens Lehmann
Manuel Almunia
Alexander Hleb
Tomas Rosicky
Mathieu Flamini
Cesc Fabregas
Theo Walcott
Nicklas Bendtner
Gael Clichy
Bacary Sagna
William Gallas
Kolo Toure
Philippe Senderos
Alex Song
Robin van Persie
Emmanuel Eboue
Justin Hoyte
Armand Traore
