Emmanuel Eboue believes the momentum is with Arsenal as they chase a top-four finish in the Premier League.
The Gunners moved above Aston Villa into the final qualifying place for the Champions League by beating Blackburn Rovers last weekend. Arsène Wenger's side can reinforce their position with a win at Newcastle on Saturday before Villa travel to Liverpool on Sunday.
Eboue has been in fine form in recent weeks, scoring three times in his last 95 minutes of action. The Ivorian expects Arsenal to go from strength to strength - especially when their injured players return.
"For a long time we’ve had players injured and now they’re either back or are nearly ready," he told the Official Matchday Programme.
"We need them next to us – and I think they’ll all be ready to help us very soon. It’s good for us to be back in the top four but it’s more important that we keep playing as we have been recently, and winning. We can’t think about Villa, Chelsea or anybody else, just our team.
"I’m starting to get some real confidence and I’m very happy because the boss has given me that, so I thank him. I’m trying to use it well and give my best when I’m on the pitch, for myself and for Arsenal, and scoring goals can only help."
