EBEL Fastest Goal: April competition winner

We can now reveal the winner of the EBEL Fastest Goal competition for April.

Emmanuel Adebayor netted Arsenal's fastest goal of the month, firing home against Manchester City at Emirates Stadium after seven minutes and six seconds on April 4.

Hundreds of you entered our competition and honourable mentions go to Jason Bouzanis, Paul Whelan, Andrew Turner, Richard Stock, Howard Wright, Paul Cook, Morten Ruud Irgens, Ian Borthwick, James Mayling, Michael Grist, Eric Hanslip, Hayley Crowhurst, Andrew Hindley, Daniel Gould, Andrew Cross, Michael McMahon and Matt Smart, all of whom came within 10 seconds of the correct time.

But our April winner is SCOTT CAMPBELL, whose prediction of seven minutes and six seconds was exactly right! Congratulations Scott - we'll be in touch shortly to arrange your EBEL prize and your free Arsenal TV Online subscription.

The EBEL Fastest Goal competition is run on a monthly basis from August to April. The most accurate guess over the entire eight months wins the biggest prize of all - a personalised Ebel watch, worth £4,150, plus a pair of match tickets. They will receive their prize on the pitch before a home game next season alongside the scorer of Arsenal's fastest goal of this season.

Jason Demby was the early frontrunner for our main prize after his August prediction was just one second out. Mary Donat matched that but Neil Hursthouse's exact prediction in September means that he and Scott Campbell will go into a draw at the end of the season to determine our main prize winner.

Thanks for taking part in the EBEL Fastest Goal competition this season.
