The Frenchman hurt his thigh on the eve of the Champions League tie with Hamburg a fortnight ago. Djourou picked up a niggle in his hamstring in Wednesday's 0-0 draw at Porto. With Kolo Toure suspended, Arsène Wenger will be relieved to have seen the Swiss centre back pass a fitness test on Friday morning.
"Gallas is out, Rosicky is out and Henry is out," he said. "We have lost Kolo Toure through suspension but Johan Djourou should be OK."
The manager has not put a timescale on Thierry Henry's return. However he indicated the captain would miss both Wigan on Wednesday and Portsmouth next Saturday.
"We have had a chat about how he feels and when he will come back," said Wenger. "There is no target for him to make a comeback. First you have to wait till he has no pain anymore and then you have to prepare. In this job you need your body."
