Arsène Wenger has explained how he will rotate his side for
the FA Cup Third Round tie at Burnley on Sunday.
Emmanuel Adebayor (hamstring),
Alex Hleb (ankle) and
Robin van Persie (muscular) are injured,
Mathieu Flamini is suspended while
Gael Clichy and
Cesc Fabregas will be rested.
Theo Walcott's shoulder injury will be considered on
Saturday.
Nicklas Bendtner is back after suspension.
Lassana Diarra,
Abou Diaby and
Denilson are vying for places in midfield. Jens Lehmann will
start.
"Robin van Persie is still out," said Wenger at his
pre-match press conference. "Mathieu Flamini is suspended.
Theo Walcott has a little shoulder problem that we will assess
tomorrow.
"We will rest some players who have played a few games. I
might rest Fabregas and Alex Hleb has a little problem with his
ankle. Emmanuel Adebayor will be rested because of his
hamstring. Clichy will be rested aswell.
"Nicklas Bendtner is back after suspension so he is available
again. Denilson, Diaby and Diarra are in contention."
