Abou Diaby... speaking ahead of the AZ Alkmaar clash
Diaby - Wenger was frustrated on Saturday
By Nick Teale
Abou Diaby has revealed the reason for Arsène Wenger's frustration during the 3-0 win over Tottenham on Saturday.
At the start of the first half Spurs had more possession than the Arsenal manager would have liked, leading the Frenchman to become frustrated at a lack of organisation in the Gunners' midfield.
"He was angry on Saturday because in the first 20 minutes we suffered a lot," said Diaby.
"Tottenham had the ball and we were not well organised. We had some difficulties to develop our game, so he was a bit upset."
The Frenchman also explained that the manager speaks to the midfield regularly about the importance of holding their position when Arsenal attack.
"He talks about that every time," said Diaby.
"Because of our position on the pitch we have to be well organised and have a good position on the pitch.
"We can't concede goals and we have to stop the counter-attack. He really insists on us being well organised."
