Abou Diaby believes Arsenal have to beat Hull City on Saturday to stay in touch with Chelsea at the top of the Premier League.
The Blues moved eight points clear of Arsène Wenger's side on Wednesday after snatching a 2-1 win over Portsmouth while Arsenal were held by Burnley at Turf Moor.
Manchester United are now five ahead of the Gunners and, although Arsenal have a game in hand on both their rivals, Diaby knows that another slip-up at Emirates Stadium this weekend could cost them dear.
"I think tonight we are very disappointed because after the last three games we really wanted to continue our winning run," he told Arsenal TV Online.
"It is very tough in the Premier League, but the most important thing is now to focus on the next game against Hull.
"It is very important to win on Saturday because we have to get closer to Chelsea and that's why we are very disappointed tonight. We couldn't take a big step, we dropped some points and it is very frustrating."
