Denilson believes the current Arsenal side is the best he has ever played in.
The Brazilian midfielder has emerged as an important member of Arsène Wenger's squad since he joined the Club from Sao Paulo in the summer of 2006 and he is in the frame for a starting place when Ipswich visit Emirates Stadium for the second leg of the Carling Cup Semi-Final on Tuesday.
That is one of four competitions Denilson and his team-mates are still challenging for this season and the 22-year-old is confident they can lift some silverware before the end of May.
"I’ve been here four years, but for me this is the best team we have had," Denilson told the Official Matchday Programme.
"The team is very strong in every position. I believe in the team and in the boss because everyone comes to training every day ready to do it and you see how much everyone wants to win. I have the possibility to help the team as well and I think this year we have the opportunity to win many trophies.
"We are confident, these [current run of home games] are very important and I’m very excited about it because we have to be ready for every match. If we can beat Ipswich on Tuesday and reach the Carling Cup Final that will give us so much confidence ahead of the next two matches."
An early-season injury and fierce competition for midfield places have restricted Denilson to 13 starts so far this term - and just four in the Premier League - but he believes he can make a major contribution in the weeks to come.
"It was disappointing because I was injured at the start of the season and have been improving little by little since then," he said. But overall I’m happy because the team has been so strong this season.
"I hope I can play more games in the rest of the season, but I just want to help the team. That’s more important – how we do as a team. That’s what matters. We have these home games coming up and we have to be together."
