Francis, what are your thoughts on the game?
We started off quite well and we were moving the ball around. We played a good Tottenham team but we could have done better because I don't think they were better than us. Now we go home with a 2-1 defeat which everybody is disappointed with.

Were you surprised to start the game?
Of course, I was a little bit surprised but as soon as the manager needs me I have to go on the pitch and give everything. That is what I tried to do today.

What did you make of Tottenham?
They were playing at home so they put a lot of pressure on us. But like I said we moved the ball around and had a few chances with Gervinho and Robin and it could have gone our way. We conceded a goal which meant we had to chase it. We came back with the goal from Aaron but it was a really hard game. We are really disappointed.

What did the boss say at half time?
I didn't think we did very well in the first half. The manager said he wanted us to move the ball quicker and that's what we did for the first 20 minutes of the half. When you come to Tottenham it is obviously a big rivalry and to go down 2-1 is really a shame.

You seemed to be on top after the equaliser.
At 1-1 I felt we put a lot of pressure on them and we could have scored a goal. It didn't happen and we found it really hard to come back.

What was your view of the winning goal?
It was a good goal, a good strike. I don't think Wojciech could see the ball because there was two Tottenham players in front, but that is football and we have to move on and win the next game.

What will the players learn from this?
I think everybody needs to focus on what they are doing and keep working hard in training. We have got a good side and soon we will get the results.

How pleased are you with your own performance?
Obviously there are always things to improve and I still have a lot to work on. I will keep training and see if I can do better.
