Colorado Rapids (USA)
Colorado Rapids 0-1 FC Dallas, June 22
Colorado Rapids twice came from behind to draw with Kansas City Wizards at the Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. After a bright start the Rapids fell behind on 24 minutes when US international Eddie Johnson smashed a first-time shot past keeper Bouna Coundoul. A push on Herculez Gomez by Jimmy Conrad allowed Johan Kirovski to equalise from the penalty on 39 minutes but Johnson reacted quickest to a rebound to restore Wizards' lead just 60 seconds later. Gomez passed up a glorious chance to equalise on 52 minutes but Facundo Erpen's first Rapids goal ensured a precious away point with 13 minutes remaining.
