The Armoury will be hosting another special event this Thursday when a quartet of Gunners legends from the historic 1970/71 double-winning side take part in a signing session and Q&A.

Goalkeeping great Bob Wilson will be joined by FA Cup match-winner Charlie George, midfielder Eddie Kelly and striking legend John Radford, to launch the 1971 Platinum Box Set - the complete souvenir that recollects one of the most remarkable seasons in Arsenal history.

Few supporters old enough to remember the season first hand will forget the title-clinching 1-0 win at White Hart Lane or Charlie George’s rasping winner at Wembley, and subsequent celebration, that remains to this day one of the FA Cup’s most iconic moments.

All four legends will take to the stage to relive some of their fondest memories from the season, before signing copies of the box set.

As well as the DVD which relives the inside story of an incredible campaign, the box set includes the ‘Seventy-One Guns’ book – a unique take on the 1970/71 football season and its backdrop of controversy and drama that also features extensive interviews with former Arsenal players and coaches of the era. The set is completed with an authentic squad photograph from the season.

Priced normally at £18, the box set will be available for just £10 on the night, making it the perfect Christmas gift for any Arsenal supporter that wants to relive this glorious campaign.

The Q&A with fans will commence this Thursday at 6.30pm with the signing session following at 7.00pm. Priority for the signing will be given to the first 200 customers on the night to purchase the ’71 Platinum Box Set.
