Gael Clichy says he "does not care" about the results of the other Premier League title-chasers, preferring to concentrate only on Arsenal's performances.
While the Gunners picked up just a point away to West Ham on Sunday, Manchester United lost to Liverpool and Manchester City surrendered a two-goal lead to draw at home to Fulham. On the Saturday, Tottenham lost at home to Stoke.
It was seen as a missed opportunity for Arsenal. Yet, while Clichy was dissatisfied with the lead his side let slip, he wasn’t concerning himself with those results.
"We don't care what the other teams are doing," he said. "We have to play our game and try to get as many points as possible.
"The really big disappointment is that we were 2-0 up and didn’t win the game. So the big shame is us not winning."
When asked if there were any strong words from Arsène Wenger after the match, Clichy said "not yet", however he expected further reflections.
"I think he will come back to the game on Monday," said the Frenchman. "But we all know what was right and wrong so we just have to look forward to the next game.
"We have to give West Ham credit because they fought until the end from 2-0. We knew it would be hard to come here and we were in control for most of the game.
"But that is not enough. We have to win games and stop losing points like this because it is a big disappointment.
"We must now look forward to Wednesday [against Liverpool] to make those mistakes right."
