Gael Clichy has shrugged off the illness that kept him out of the midweek win over Partizan and is expected to line up against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Frenchman is still only 25 but he is a veteran of these big games and knows exactly what will be required on Monday night.

Ahead of the game Gael sat down with Arsenal TV Online to assess the season so far and the big challenge that awaits Arsenal.

He discussed:

  • the importance of Monday's game
  • whether beating Man Utd makes you feel like champions
  • the benefit of playing them away
  • the goals both sides have conceded
  • taking and losing leads at Old Trafford
  • why moral victories are not enough
  • the prospect of facing Nani
