Not content with merely learning advanced ballet skills with the dancers of the English National Ballet, Alex Song, Wojciech Szczesny, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Bacary Sagna have now turned their hand to tinkling the ivories with a new video featuring the players at the piano.

This video follows on from another one, entitled ‘Footballet’, which was recently released as part of “The Refined, Redefined” campaign for new Citroën DS5. It showed our footballers being put through their paces by the ballerinas. It was a bold move which had the guys out of their comfort zone and they were soon appreciating the fitness and skill required for dancers at the top of their game.

After the video was completed, Alex Song said there was a "real sense of achievement" involved in learning a few ballet steps. "What an experience!" he added.

These videos, along with two more, ‘Footballet Disco Remix’ and ‘Footballet Making Of’, feature on the Citroën UK Facebook page as part of a promotion where fans can win tickets to see Arsenal play at Emirates Stadium on 5 May.

In the Disco Remix, we see the Arsenal players getting the ballerinas involved in dancing that was possibly a little more within their comfort zone. As Sagna said: "I’m better at throwing shapes in the dressing room."
