Carter receives first England call-up

Danielle Carter has been called up to the England squad for the first time, for World Cup qualifiers against Belarus and Turkey in September.

The forward has scored seven times during the second half of the season and is included alongside fellow striker Ellen White.

Defenders Steph Houghton and Alex Scott are in the squad along with central midfielder Jordan Nobbs and winger Rachel Yankey.
