Arsenal.com's Nick Teale uses the Bettorlogic form lab to analyse the statistics ahead of this Sunday's Premier League clash with Chelsea.
Arsenal's trip to Stamford Bridge on Sunday is a real title-race six-pointer. Win, and the Gunners will be just three points behind Chelsea. Lose, and they will trail the Premier League leaders by nine points.
But Arsène Wenger's side know that they have what it takes to beat Chelsea, who have dropped just two points at home all season.
The Gunners have lost just one of their last five trips to 'Big Four' clubs; the 2-1 defeat at Manchester United earlier this season. And Arsenal have lost just two League games at Stamford Bridge under the rule of Wenger.
The Gunners have the second-best away record in the League this season. Of the Gunners' 49 points this term, 21 have come away from Emirates Stadium. Manchester United top the 'away table' with 22 points from 12 games.
This season Chelsea have kept more clean sheets than any other Premier League team. The Blues' backline has remained unbreached in 11 of their 24 fixtures during the current campaign.
However, they may have a job keeping Arsenal out on Sunday. The Gunners are top of the Premier League's goalscoring charts with 60 strikes in 24 games. That means that Wenger's side have an impressive average of 2.5 goals per game this term.
Statically, Arsenal have performed better on their travels with Andrey Arshavin in the side. When the Russian has started away from home this season, Arsenal have collected an average of 2.1 points per game.
That is a 20 per cent improvement on the team average of 1.75 points per game. The Gunners have also scored 10 per cent more goals; averaging 2.3 goals per away game with the midfielder in the starting XI.
