Arsenal are enjoying a run of fine form at the moment. Arsène Wenger's side have won their last five fixtures and will be looking to make that six with the visit of Blackburn Rovers on Sunday.
Sam Allardyce's side have won just two of their opening seven Premier League matches. Looking at the Bettorlogic form lab, their fans have every reason to be pessimistic about their chances this weekend too.
Allardyce took charge at Ewood Park last December and the side immediately embarked on a nine-match unbeaten run, clawing themselves clear of the relegation zone.
So what was behind the upturn in Blackburn's fortunes? The Bettorlogic form lab suggests it may well have been their home performances.
Since Allardyce took charge Rovers have lost just two of the 15 home games they've played. Away they've won just two of their 12 fixtures.
At home they're scoring an average of 1.47 goals per game but away they average just above one goal every two games.
A similar reversal happens defensively too. At Ewood Park they concede an average of just 0.8 goals per game. Away they concede almost two goals per game.
The odds look even better for Arsenal when you add in their home record against bottom-half clubs. Rovers finished 15th in the Premier League last season and are resting in the same position in this year's table.
Over the last five seasons the Gunners have only lost one home game against a team in the bottom half of the league. They've won 46 of 56 such games.
Wenger's side average a fraction shy of three goals per game in those circumstances and have won every one of the nine games Abou Diaby has featured in.
