Nicklas Bendtner... fined by the Club
Bendtner fined for ‘unacceptable’ behaviour
By Declan Taylor
Nicklas Bendtner has been fined by the Club for his behaviour after Tuesday night’s Champions League Semi-Final defeat against Manchester United, which manager Arsène Wenger has described as “not acceptable”.
The Danish striker, who came on after 63 minutes of the 3-1 reverse, was photographed leaving a nightclub in the early hours of Wednesday morning with his jeans pulled down.
At Friday’s pre-match press conference, when asked if he was disappointed by Bendtner’s actions, Arsène Wenger’s response was firm.
“Yes,” the manager said.
“It was not acceptable and he has been fined by the Club.”
