Nicklas Bendtner believes the month of February will go a long way to deciding the success of Arsenal’s season.

After progressing to the FA Cup Fifth Round with a win over Huddersfield on Sunday, Arsène Wenger’s side face a pivotal run of seven games in less than four weeks starting with the Premier League visit of Everton on Tuesday.

Arsenal start the month still gunning for silverware on four fronts and could pick up their first trophy in six seasons when they face Birmingham in the Carling Cup Final on February 27. Before that, Barcelona visit Emirates Stadium for a mouthwatering Champions League clash and the Gunners travel to Leyton Orient in the FA Cup with three more Premier League games sandwiched in between.

Bendtner feels it’s a crucial period in their season.

"This next month is a bit of a decider, I would say. There are matches that will have a massive influence on the Premier League as well,” said the Dane.

"February is a big month for us and at the end of it we will see where we're at. Hopefully it will all look fantastic. We need to start by beating Everton. They have been doing fantastically. They were a bit unlucky against Chelsea and they played some good football. We have to be up for the challenge and be ready.

"It's always difficult to play again so quickly. We have played a lot of games but we're sportsmen and this is what we have to do. Luckily it is a night game and not an early kick-off because they are killers. People have said before that if we weren't at our best games would end in draws.

"I think this season we have turned those question marks into victories. I think that is what is making us stronger game by game."
