Yossi Benayoun says Arsenal are in control of their destiny as they head into the final two games of the season.

Following Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Stoke, the Gunners lie four points clear of Tottenham and Newcastle, although both clubs have a match in hand.

But Benayoun is not worried about their rivals, and is certain Arsène Wenger’s side will claim the six points needed to secure Champions League football.

“It is a shame we didn't win [at Stoke] but it is a good point, especially after Newcastle lost,” he told Arsenal Player.

“It means that if we win our last two games we will definitely be in third place. Don't forget that a few months ago no-one thought Arsenal would be in third, they thought maybe if we're lucky we could get fourth.

“We are the favourites for third place now, and I am full of confidence we will win the last two games and get there.”
