Ball Squad trials take place at Hale End
On Sunday, 160 Junior Gunners aged 12 and over joined us at Hale End to become a member of our elite squad – the Arsenal Ball Squad trials for the 2012/13 season.
With only 20 spaces available, the JGs had to demonstrate that they were the best at catching, throwing, running, showing high concentration levels and being able to work within a team.
It was a cloely-fought competition and some tough choices had to be made but we are pleased to announce that we have selected the squad for next season. Those selected will be coming down to Emirates Stadium in late summer to enjoy a training session and look around at the areas they will be positioned on a matchday, so keep an eye out on Arsenal.com for more news on the squad in the coming months.
