Mikel Arteta believes qualification to the knockout stage of the Champions League is a weight off the team’s shoulders.

Arsène Wenger’s side also confirmed their status as Group F winners with their 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday and a relieved and delighted Arteta admits the team did not want to travel to Olympiacos in the final game with work to do.

“It's fantastic for us, we didn't want to go to Greece needing a win over there,” he told Arsenal Player.

“We knew how important it was against a really tough side who put you in trouble and press really hard. We've done the business and we're really happy.

“Obviously it's better to finish top of the group. We still have one game to go in Greece and after we'll see what happens with the draw.

“There's no such thing as an easy game in the Champions League. We know that, we haven't beat any team three or four-nil.”
