Andrey Arshavin admits the Arsenal fans have not seen the best of him so far this season.

The Russian has scored once for Arsène Wenger’s side this term and has had his fair share of assists, but his critics claim he has yet to rediscover the form he showed during a flying start to his career in English football in 2009.

Arshavin knows the fans want more from him - and so does he.

“They should expect more from me, of course,” he told Arsenal Player. “They should expect some more tricks, goals and unbelievable passes.

“To be honest I am still expecting more from me as well. But believe me, I do everything I can do.

“I just have to give everything I can at the moment, just on the pitch. I want to score more goals and bring my team to the title.”

The full interview with Andrey is now available on Arsenal Player.
