Andrey Arshavin is the O2/Arsenal.com Player of the Month.
The Russian playmaker has made a flying start to his Arsenal career and scooped more than half the votes in our official poll.
It's easy to see why. The Gunners won all five of the games Arshavin appeared in during March as the deadline-day signing racked up five assists and a world-class goal to open his account for the Club.
Arshavin's perfect free-kick set up Kolo Toure's headed goal at West Brom and a deft pass sent Carlos Vela through against Burnley. The Russian's parried shot against Blackburn was buried by Emmanuel Eboue and another precise delivery allowed Nicklas Bendtner to nod the opener at Newcastle.
But Arshavin's crowning glory was his own, individual strike against Blackburn. Having forced the own goal which broke the deadlock, the Russian doubled Arsenal's lead with some trickery on the byline and an impudent finish into the top corner from a tight angle.
Robin van Persie, having won four monthly awards in a row, was pushed into second place in our poll by Arshavin. Manuel Almunia, who saved vital penalties in Rome and Newcastle, finished third.

Marcel Pool of Plymouth, Devon, has won the chance to present Andrey with his award before Arsenal’s home game against Manchester City on Saturday, April 4. Marcel will also receive two tickets to the match.
"Having just become a new member of the team, he has shown guts, strength and that little bit that was missing from Arsenal's football," said Marcel. "He's a worthy buy and he is just going to get better."Copyright 2014 The Arsenal Football Club plc.
