UEFA has confirmed that Arsène Wenger will be free to coach his team during Wednesday's crucial UEFA Champions League play-off tie with Udinese Calcio.

Wenger received a two match touchline ban after the first leg last week, but following an application to stay this sanction lodged by Arsenal on Tuesday, the suspension will now not take immediate effect, meaning that the manager can resume his duties from the dugout in Udine.

The two match ban has now been stayed, pending Arsenal's appeal to UEFA's Control and Disciplinary Body to overturn the ruling altogether.
