The opening home game of the season kicks off at 3pm on Saturday 22nd August. Please find detailed below some important reminders and hints and tips to make your day go smoothly.
The majority of you attending the game will be Arsenal Members and as such you will gain entry to the ground by use of your membership card. Please do not forget this as you will be liable for a £10 charge for reprinting your ticket on the day. Your membership card will be the same card as last season unless your membership has altered in any way. Some examples of how your membership might have changed are listed below;
Change of membership type - Red to Silver, New Gold or Platinum, Junior Gunners to Cannon Club and Season ticket seat relocation.
In each of the above cases, there has been a delay in reprinting cards due to technical difficulties. However, all members should have received their new cards by Thursday the 20th August at the latest. If you have not received yours, then please call the Arsenal Contact Centre on 0207 619 5000 (option 1 for ticketing) which is open from 09.30 to 5pm Mon to Fri.
If you have lost your membership card, then please call the Arsenal Contact Centre on 0207 619 5000 (option 1 for ticketing) which is open from 09.30 to 5pm Mon to Fri. The Box Office will then arrange a replacement card to be made available for collection from the South West kiosk on the day. There will be a £10 charge for replacement cards.
If you are a new member and you have not received your card by Friday the 21st August, then please call the Arsenal Contact Centre on 0207 619 5000 (option 1 for ticketing) which is open from 09.30 to 5pm. The Box Office will then arrange a replacement card to be made available for collection from the South West kiosk (opposite turnstile S open from 1pm) on the day. Please note that we cannot take requests any earlier than Friday the 21st.
A small number of you will have purchased tickets after 11am on Monday the 17th August. If you live overseas then these have been held for collection from the South West Kiosk (situated opposite turnstile S, open from 1pm). The remainder of paper ticket will be dispatched in time for the game on Saturday. If you are not in receipt of your paper tickets by Friday 21st August, then please call the Arsenal Contact Centre on 0207 619 5000 (option 1 for ticketing) which is open from 09.30 to 5pm. Please note we cannot take requests any earlier than Friday the 21st.
Please note that your membership card is non transferrable and therefore if it is not the member attending, the Match Day Box Office will be unable to assist in any way. Likewise, if the membership card is a concessions card i.e Junior Gunners, Cannon Club or a Senior Citizens card, then an adult will not be permitted entry regardless of the type of ticket that was purchased on the card.
For Club level, the doors will open from 12.30pm. For the remainder of the ground, the turnstiles will open shortly after 1pm. We advise that you do not leave your entry until the last minute as should there be difficulties in entering the stadium, and you need to go to the Match Day Box Office, this is the time that it is extremely busy and we cannot take responsibility should you miss any of the game.
We hope that you enjoy the game, but if you need assistance, there are a number of people that can help. The stewards will be able to advise on where to locate the South West Kiosk or Match Day Box Office, in addition there will be mobile ticket advisers located by the turnstiles who will be able to check where you are seated or whether your membership card is valid.
The Arsenal switchboard will be open from 9.30 until 15 minutes after the final whistle should you have an emergency or a query relating to the game. The number for the switchboard is 0207 619 5003.
