Arsene Wenger... manager is taking precautions to combat swine flu
Arsenal serious about swine flu threat
By Richard Clarke
Arsenal are taking "every precaution" to combat the "mysterious" threat of swine flu, according to Arsène Wenger.
The virus hit football this week after a trio of Blackburn players were found to be suffering from it.
At his training ground, Wenger is following the guidelines about cleanliness and using hand-gel but he admits the disease is puzzling.
"We take every precaution we are told to take," he said, speaking exclusively Arsenal.com.
"Basically we wash our hands more than we did before and we use hand gel. That sums it up.
"We are the same as everybody else, we do not know more. But it is quite mysterious."
