Right back Joe Shaw was born in Bury, Lancashire. He made 309
League appearances for the Gunners and later went on to become
Reserve Team manager and caretaker manager for the first-team
following Herbert Chapman's death in 1934

scored 19 times in 79 outings while at Highbury

last ever game at Highbury, securing Arsenal the fourth and final
