A day Ian Wright will never forget. The effervescent striker went into the game one short of Cliff Bastin's goals record and eclipsed it by half-time before completing his hat-trick after the break. Ray Parlour was also on target in an emphatic, historic home win.

Cesc Fabregas completes the comeback

A tough game for the Gunners looked even more awkward when former favourite Nicolas Anelka fired Bolton in front. But Tomas Rosicky levelled on the half hour from close range and Cesc Fabregas popped up with the winner early in the second half.

Arsenal were getting more and more frustrated at Emirates Stadium as the hour mark passed without a goal. But Kolo Toure's fizzing low free kick finally broke the deadlock and Tomas Rosicky secured all three points with 10 minutes left.

Having seen his team thwarted at every turn by a resolute Bolton side, Arsène Wenger turned to Nickas Bendtner with 16 minutes left. The big Dane replaced Emmanuel Eboue and charged in at the back post to score a late winner.

A crazy game which ended with Arsenal on top of the Premier League table. Bolton caught the Gunners cold with two first-half goals but Rosicky's piledriver sparked a fine comeback with Fabregas, Vermaelen and Arshavin on target.
