Kolo Toure nets against Blackburn

Despite having Gilberto sent off in the 12th minute, Arsenal put in a performance brimming with class and character to see off Blackburn at Ewood Park in January 2007. Kolo Toure's header and a vicious strike from Thierry Henry won the match for Arsenal.

Eduardo nets our extra-time winner

Eduardo scored a dramatic extra-time winner as 10-man Arsenal won a Carling Cup thriller at Ewood Park in December 2007. The young Gunners led Blackburn by two goals after a first-half masterclass but Blackburn fought back before Denilson was sent off.

Robin van Persie scores against Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn 0-4 Arsenal, 2008

A second-half hat-trick by Emmanuel Adebayor saw the Gunners' register a 4-0 win at Ewood Park two years ago. Robin van Persie had put Wenger's side ahead and this was the game that saw Jack Wilshere become the youngest ever Arsenal player to feature in a League match for the Gunners.

Arsenal 4-0 Blackburn, 2009

Andrey Arshavin opened his Arsenal account in a wonderful fashion as Arsenal beat Blackburn 4-0 in March 2009. Emmanuel Eboue scored twice in the match after coming on as an 83rd-minute substitute

09/10 Arsenal 6-2 Blackburn Rovers - Thomas Vermaelen

Arsenal 6-2 Blackburn, 2009

Arsenal twice came from behind to beat Blackburn 6-2 in an incredible game at Emirates Stadium last season. Among the goals was a thumping long-range effort from centre back Thomas Vermaelen.
