Arsène Wenger knows that the next 22 days will define Arsenal’s season.
The Frenchman and his players will negotiate seven games in that period and, if all goes well, they will be in the Semi-Finals of the Champions League, in the FA Cup Final and well-placed in the top four of the Premier League.
Conversely, Arsenal’s hopes of silverware could have evaporated by the time April ends. Wenger is well aware that it’s time for his players to deliver and reap the reward for their hard work this season.
“Of course [April is important], not just for us but any given team,” said the Frenchman. “March, April and May defines your season of course.
“We have put ourselves in a very strong position because of the hard work we have done now but now it’s the final part of the season where every single game becomes massively important.”
