Salomon Kalou put the Ivorians ahead after four minutes but Algeria levelled in the 39th minute through Karim Matmour. Alhassane Keita looked to have won the game for Ivory Coast with an 89th-minute strike but Madjid Bougherra equalised in stoppage time.
