Chuks Aneke’s loan spell with Crewe Alexandra has been extended by a further month until December 17.

The 19-year-old midfielder has established himself as a regular in Steve Davis’ side since his arrival in September, recently revelling in a more advanced role behind the strikers that has seen him score three goals in 12 appearances for the League One club.

An England youth international, Aneke made his first-team debut for Arsenal in the 3-1 League Cup victory over Shrewsbury Town in September 2011.

The Newham-born youngster gained further senior experience over the summer on the Club’s pre-season tour of Asia, scoring the winner against a Malaysia XI in Kuala Lumpur.

Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Chuks well for his continued stay at the Alexandra Stadium.
