Manuel Almunia says it is difficult to switch focus from the Premier League to the Champions League.
Four consecutive League wins have seen Arsenal move to within two points of the Premier League summit - a gap that was nine points a month ago.
But now attention turns to Tuesday night's Champions League Round of 16 second-leg clash with Porto.
The Gunners trail the Portuguese champions 2-1 after the first leg and Almunia admits that while the team is looking forward to the Emirates Stadium match, it can be hard to change focus from one competition to another.
"It is difficult when we have a good run in the League because you do not want to stop playing games in the League," he explained. "But now it is the Champions League.
"It is a different competition, different opponents. It is the best competition in Europe. It is difficult to change the emphasis [between competitions] but we will be looking forward to tomorrow's game and after tomorrow we will be looking forward to the Hull game."Copyright 2013 The Arsenal Football Club plc.
