Emmanuel Adebayor will never set himself a goalscoring target.
The Arsenal striker is in good form this season. He has hit the net
three times so far this term, that represents a quarter of his
return during the whole of the last campaign. With Thierry Henry
now departed, Adebayor is well aware the French frontman's
goals must be replaced but he'll not set a figure he must
attain.
"For a striker, that is difficult," he said. "I
could say I want to score 30, and in March, if I have scored 30,
what am I going to do? Am I going to stop?
"That's why I never set a target. It is just important to
keep on scoring and winning games. At the end of the season, if I
have scored 15, 20 or 25, I will be happy with it but the most
important thing is to win something as a team."
