Academy Recruitment Fraud
It has come to our attention that various individuals and organisations are contacting people offering false training and employment opportunities at Arsenal Football Club and, in particular, targeting those hoping to join the Arsenal Youth Academy.
We take this matter extremely seriously, and we are currently working with the appropriate legal authorities to put a stop to this fraudulent scheme. By making supporters aware of this, we hope to avoid and ultimately prevent people falling victim to this scam.
What should I do?
DO contact us at legal@arsenal.co.uk if you are concerned about any suspicious correspondence you have received from someone claiming to represent Arsenal Football Club, in particular from email accounts unconnected with the club such as yahoo, gmail and hotmail.
DO NOT disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know.
DO NOT send any money. Arsenal does not ask for money transfers or payments from applicants to secure an Academy place, either as a trainee or a youth team player.
