It's Friday, so it's time for the Friday Goal brought to
you by Budweiser!
To get you in the mood before Arsenal games we usually bring you FREE VIDEO footage of an historic goal against our forthcoming opponents.
This week we take you back to May 2004 and a great team goal scored by Jose Antonio Reyes.
Newly-crowned champions Arsenal were in the middle of their
historic unbeaten sequence of 49 games when they travelled to
Fratton Park. The Gunners were trailing to a first half strike by
Pompey's Nigerian striker Yakubu when Thierry Henry picked up
possession and crossed from the left.
The ball was only partially headed clear and Reyes took full
advantage with a sweetly-struck volley into the bottom corner. It
was the Spaniard's first Premiership goal following
his move from Sevilla earlier that year.
