Allyson Felix stormed to her first 200m Olympic gold on Wednesday night in a time of 21.88 seconds.
Meanwhile, Mo Farah finished in third place in his heat to ease into the men's 5,000m final in a time of 13 minutes 26 seconds. But Great Britain women's hockey star Ashleigh Ball will play for bronze after their 2-1 defeat to Argentina at the Riverbank Arena.
