Work has now started on Arsenal's new pitch for the 2012/13 campaign.
Having won the prestigious Groundsman of the Year award last season, head groundsman Paul Ashcroft and his team have set about preparing the Emirates Stadium turf once more.
Our club photographer was there to check on the early progress and sent back these images.
