GunnersGaming by Betsson, Arsenal’s Official Betting Partner, give us the rundown on some of the markets on offer ahead of tomorrow’s match against Stoke...
Arsenal have just three games left to secure Champions League qualification and Saturday’s trip to the Britannia Stadium will certainly be a strong test of their credentials. With Chelsea having progressed to the Champions League final, the race for the top four may yet take another twist and finishing third must be the No 1 objective to avoid any nasty surprises.
Arsenal's recent record at the Britannia Stadium may be a worry to those making the trip north, especially with the losses of both Theo Walcott and Mikel Arteta to injury. The likes of Gervinho, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Yossi Benayoun will need to provide the creative impetus if the run of three defeats in four visits to Staffordshire is to be improved on. Back Benayoun to score at 7/2.
While Stoke have perhaps not been as formidable at home as previous seasons, Tony Pulis' side have still taken 10 points from their last four home games and will provide a crucial test for Arsenal's Champions League credentials. The Football Predictor suggests the Gunners should get the win they need (at 5/6) but with 1-0 (at 11/2) its favoured scoreline, a nervy affair may well be on the cards.
Robin van Persie is our top goalscorer against the Potters with five career goals - including two braces - and the captain will need to lead from the front again. Could he celebrate winning the PFA and FWA Player of the Year awards by scoring his first hat-trick against them at 18/1?
